Junior Club

Our Junior Club runs from 7pm until 8pm every Wednesday from early September through to the end of March.

We take pride in playing a small part in developing the children that attend our club, not just with their badminton skills, but also providing them an environment to develop their social skills and build their confidence. 

Our junior club is always well attended, for that reason, we do normally have a waiting list. We limit numbers to ensure that everyone that comes to club get a fair amount of 1-1 time with our coaches and/or volunteers.

Current Season

Our new season will start in September 2025 where spaces are likely to become available.

The Norman Stewart Trophy

At the end of the 23/24 season, our chairman of 14 years stepped down, he was a massive champion of our junior club, because of this, the club decided to name a new trophy in his honour to celebrate one male and one female player each season, the players were voted for by our coaches based on the improvements they had made to their game and the effort they put into each session.

Jean Kloos Junior Tournament

Every year, we run a fun and friendly tournament in memory of Jean Kloos, a former member and coach who had a significant impact on a huge number of juniors who came through our club, she sadly passed away in 2012 but would have been proud of the yearly competition in her honour. As part of it, our Senior and Junior clubs come together in pairs to compete against each other.
